Taking care of your recovery
Our patient guides are written to help you heal comfortably after treatment. A few reminders that apply to every visit:
Healing after dental treatment goes best when you know what to expect. The guides in this section cover the steps most patients ask about, from caring for an extraction site to keeping new dentures clean. Read them at home, keep them handy, and call us whenever you have a question that is not covered. We would much rather hear from you early than have you worry on your own.
- Whose instructions should I follow?
- Always follow what Dr. Moon or our team told you at your appointment. The guides here are meant to back that up, not replace it.
- When should I call the office?
- Call if you notice increasing pain, swelling that spreads, a fever, bleeding that will not stop or anything that simply feels wrong.
- What about after hours?
- We are open Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm. In an emergency, call 911, and call us the next business day.
