Our Services
Oral Hygiene
Regular cleanings and checkups are the simplest way to keep your smile healthy and avoid bigger treatment later.

A professional cleaning removes plaque and tartar that brushing and flossing at home can miss. Your hygienist also checks your gums, and Dr. Moon examines your teeth, bite and mouth for early signs of trouble.
We take time to show you what is working, what could be better, and which tools fit your routine, so you leave knowing how to care for your own teeth.
What to expect
- A gentle cleaning and polish
- A review of your teeth and gums
- Personal tips for brushing, flossing and diet
- A recommended schedule for your next visit
Every smile is different. Dr. Moon will recommend what is right for you after an exam.
Common questions about cleanings
Routine cleanings are the foundation of a healthy mouth. Here are a few things patients often ask us.
- How often should I have my teeth cleaned?
- Many patients visit every six months, but the right schedule depends on your gums, your history and your habits. Dr. Moon and our hygienist will suggest an interval that fits you.
- Will a cleaning hurt?
- Most people find cleanings comfortable. If your teeth or gums are sensitive, tell us at the start of the visit and we will adjust our approach and go at a pace that works for you.
- What can I do at home between visits?
- Brush gently twice a day, clean between your teeth daily, and limit sugary snacks and drinks. We are happy to show you techniques that suit your mouth.
